We explain seamless activewear
Seamless activewear is made using the same process, but the quality is influenced by several different factors. We explain each of the various processes. Each seamless garment is knitted using a circular knitting machine (there are a few exceptions, but this is rare). This means that every single garment is knitted as a tube. A pair of leggings, a tank top, or a sports bra is knitted in the same way.

Yarn
The yarn is crucial for the quality and properties of the fabric. One chooses yarn based on the garment's purpose and the desired quality. It is common to combine different types of yarn. We are proud to collaborate with one of the best yarn producers in the world. Our partner Fulgar SpA in Italy specializes in Nylon 6.6 and other technical yarn types. They are known for their quality and sustainable production.
Design & Setting
All seamless garments are designed in a computer program before they are knitted by the circular knitting machine. This design determines the various knitting textures and measurements. Every single stitch knitted by the needles is determined by the design.
A technician must manually prepare the machine for production. The yarn must be set up, adjusted, defective needles replaced, and the machine cleaned and programmed for the respective garment.
Warp knit
Warp knit seamless is a technique in seamless production that ensures that the garments are both elastic, breathable, and durable. This occurs through the technology that ties the yarn together in a strong manner, using parallel loops that are linked together in a zigzag pattern.
Dyeing
Dyeing and treatment of the fabric are important for the fabric’s comfort and properties. The dyeing is done when the “seamless garment” is a tube.
Cut & Sew
After dyeing, the tube must be cut and sewn. This is how it becomes a finished and usable seamless garment. All articles require this manual process. Seamless Leggings, underwear, sports bras, and sweaters must be cut and sewn before they can be used.
Quality control
A good quality control process should reveal defects before the garments are packed and shipped to Norway. All our Seamless garments undergo three quality controls.

Applications
Seamless activewear is soft, has a good fit, and feels incredibly comfortable against the skin. For individuals with high demands for comfort and freedom of movement, seamless is a great training garment.
We make seamless leggings and seamless tops for all physical activities. This includes strength training, running, and yoga. Therefore, we have chosen to use exclusive materials that make the garment extra comfortable. It is lightweight, soft, and effectively transports moisture. But even the best seamless activewear must be treated properly. If you engage in activities that involve friction against objects or surfaces, we recommend using something other than seamless leggings. We recommend these leggings if you are going for a tough CrossFit session, or if you risk giving your leggings the taste of asphalt or other uneven surfaces.
No seamless garments like to come into contact with Velcro, animal claws, or other sharp objects. These can damage the surface. Your seamless activewear should be able to provide you with many comfortable experiences and workout sessions for a long time.
Seamless underwear and socks
In the past, seamless machines were primarily used for the production of socks and underwear. Socks are made using the same process as seamless clothes, but they are cut and sewn differently. The machine that produces socks is also a circular knitting machine, just much smaller.

Seamless leggings
Famme offers a wide selection of seamless training leggings to best meet our customers' needs. The variation includes color, fit, and the thickness of the fabric. Regardless of which model fits you best, all our seamless leggings are made of Fulgars Lamicrofibra. This is a Nylon 6.6 yarn with extremely fine filaments that make the leggings comfortable to train in.
The seamless leggings we offer include our best-selling Vortex Leggings and Vortex 2 which are thicker in fabric and have more compression. If you want leggings with good shaping effect, we recommend checking out our Scrunch Leggings collection. They lift the buttocks and fit nicely!
Seamless sports bra
Among the selection we have of sports bras there are also several seamless options. With its simple and nice design with few seams, we recommend the seamless bra for training with low to medium intensity.
One of our best-selling sports bras is the wire-free Seamless Bralette and Power seamless top which are perfect for everyday wear or low-intensity training, such as yoga or brisk walking. Elevate Sports Bra and Camo sports bra are better suited for higher intensity training as they offer good support, for example, for strength training.
