How to tie your laces

You might have wondered why you have an extra hole on each side when you buy new shoes? The extra hole is positioned so high that it doesn’t feel entirely natural to use it. Many do not know what it is for, but it has a purpose that should be utilized and tested.

Here’s what you do for a better result:

  • Take the lace from the second-to-last hole into the top hole.
  • Guide the lace through so that you have a small loop left.
  • Do this on both sides.
  • Then take the lace from one side over to the other, and through the loop.
  • Pull tight and tie together.
  • Ensure that the shoes fit well.

How to wash shoelaces?

Our running shoes can easily be washed in the washing machine, but it is important to remove the shoelaces and insoles first. To wash the shoes, you can do the following:

  1. Use mild soap. The chemicals in detergents can be too harsh for the fabric.
  2. Cover the area you want to wash with soap and soak it with cold water.
  3. Gently rub the cloth on the stains that have been lifted from the laces.
  4. Remove soap residue with a wet towel and let it air dry.
